Foreign Medical Graduates Examination (FMGE) or MCI Screening Test is a licensure examination conducted by the National Board of Examinations in India. Medical students who graduate MBBS from Abroad must appear the FMGE after returning to India in order to attain a license to be a qualified medical practitioner in India. The FMGE exam is one of the mandatory requirements for Indian citizens with an MBBS degree from a medical university outside of India to practice medicine in India.
